Software Development occupations are projected to grow 24 percent in the next ten years.  

This program prepares students for further education, advanced certifications and immediate employment in the software development field. At Sunnyside High School students will create high-impact web pages, animations and graphics writing source code and applets in interactive web based languages such as HTML and JavaScript. At Desert View High School students will create original games using tools and software for web, iPod, iPad and mobile game platforms writing source code and applets in interactive web-based applications such as Swift for Apple. Students also learn about the impact computer science has on their community in ethics, security, and privacy.
