Technical Theater is where the action happens! Students learn the craft of building sets and designing costumes to running the sound and the stage of theater performances. Students will have the opportunity to be a part of the after school performing arts productions, performing tasks that include lighting, sound, set design, and make up.
Fact:
Students in Technical Theater join the Thespian Troupe 4478 to compete in regional, state, and national competition. Desert View’s Theater students have a rich tradition of success at all levels and many students have earned scholarships in Theater to continue their studies at the college level.
